About Me

Hello everybody! I am Samuel/Álvaro. Feel free to call me any variation of those names. Though I'd prefer Álvaro. My pronouns are he/him/him AND they/them/theirs I do not mind which ones you use. I like to pursue any random hobby if I have the resources for that said hobby. Here is a list of things I learned randomly throughout the last eight years out of bordem.

I like to think I'm pretty cool. I know two languages (Spanish and English) and am learning two others (Mandarin Chinese and German). I have a small collection of stuff. It has grown quite a bit since I last took the photo.

I think the most important thing I want people to know about me is that I find it extremely hard to quit something. I might get frustrated that I cannot get something right, so I'll have to put it down for a while. Eventually, I'll pick it back up with much more ease and a better understanding. Like HTML and CSS!

Short Story of PlasterAndJunk

I'm sure you're wondering why I became interested in creating my own website. No, its not some intricate story of how I was bored of regular old social media. It's quite a simple story actually.

So one day in late 2023, little 17 year old me wanted to download some movies, and looked up how to torrent movies. Long story short I found a little cool website called Easy USSR. Reading through the page lead me to Neocities (which was part of the URL). 2023 me wasn't interested enough to learn HTML though.

Later in like January or February of 2024 I had stopped caring a lot about school because it was senior year and there wasn't much going on in class anyway. I thought it was going to be a silly little month phase. Boy was I wrong. I don't remember how I came up with the name or what the original idea for the website was, but as far as 2025 knows, the current format was the planned idea.
