About Me

Hello! My name is Samuel Álvaro and as of May 2022 use the pronouns he/him/his and they/them/theirs. My age doesn’t matter much, but if you were curious I turned 19 in 2025.

The purpose of this site is for me to have an outlet where not many of my IRL’s can see what I post, so if you’re an IRL I know you aren’t some judgemental person and I trust you :). Here I will upload my art I’ve made, as well as having a log for my movies/albums, blog/journal, photography, and much more.

Like I’ve stated, I’m the kind of person who doesn’t talk much about myself SO I’ll do the total opposite right now and give you some fun facts:

  1. I learned the entirety of Hamilton before 6th grade because I thought people would find it cool (therefore finding me cool) and I would have made easy friends. This worked to a certain extent.
  2. I love learning. The hunger I have for learning has made me learn an extensive amount of just about anything, including:
  • Morse code
  • Torrenting
  • HTML/CSS
  • Modular Origami
  • Book binding
  • Paper making
  • Burning CDs
  • Juggling

There's more I just cannot remember them right now!

I like to think I'm pretty cool. I know two languages (Spanish and English) and am learning two others (Mandarin Chinese and German). I have a small collection of stuff. It has grown quite a bit since I last took the photo.

I think the most important thing I want people to know about me is that I find it extremely hard to quit something whether good or bad. I might get frustrated that I cannot get it right, so I'll have to put it down for a while. Eventually, I'll pick it back up with more ease and have a better grasp of the topic. Like HTML and CSS!

Short Story of PlasterAndJunk

I'm sure you're wondering why I became interested in creating my own website. No, its not some intricate story of how I was bored of regular old social media. It's quite a simple story actually.

So one day in late 2023, little 17 year old me wanted to download some movies, and looked up how to torrent movies. Long story short I found a little cool website called Easy USSR. Reading through the page lead me to Neocities (which was part of the URL). 2023 me wasn't interested enough to learn HTML though.

Later in like January or February of 2024 I had stopped caring a lot about school because it was senior year and there wasn't much going on in class anyway. I thought it was going to be a silly little month phase. Boy was I wrong. I don't remember how I came up with the name or what the original idea for the website was, but as far as 2025 knows, the current format was the planned idea.
